Before we left Chengdu, our sweet cooking ayi asked us over for lunch at her house. The girls had school so just Cohen and Maely went with Chris and I. Her whole family was there and it was a great experience. I was not able to talk much because I did not speak chinese, but Chris was able to communicate with them. It was also humbling because their house was about a size of our masterbedroom. I had given her stuff and it was nice to see her using it. She is a wonderful person. She has one son and takes care of her niece as well. I will miss her sweet spirit and kindness she showed our children. Cohen loved her so much and would always give her a hug when she left. I am glad that we got the opportunity to have her in our life.
