One of the fun things at the girl's international school is they have after school activities to participate in. This quintile, Avery chose to be in reading and drama. They did a play based on a Native American book called "The Rough Faced Girl". It is similar to Cinderella however it is about a girl who worked in front a fire (that how her face was rough) and had two mean sisters. Avery was a mean sister. I was amazed how well Avery spoke and did a really good job! She enjoyed it and that also helps. It is fun to see her gain confidence and blossom as a performer. Avery and one of her best friends, Puja, were the mean sisters. Here is a picture of them and the whole cast. I also managed to get a video of it, so please enjoy! Part of the school came to watch it.
