We have a house!!

Before we left China, Chris and I had been trying to work on purchasing a house before we arrived, but it was much harder to do than we thought it would be. Chris had found a house when he came down here for his grandma's funeral. However, by the time we got back, there was already an offer on the table, so it was not possible. We even asked for 5,000 above price but they had signed the papers. Then we picked a house that was a spec home but it would not be down til July 1. We prayed about it and thought that was the house for us, but when we got here the company was misleading us in alot of ways so we backed out. Finally we found a house!! It was a house we liked but it was out of our price. We thought it never hurts to ask, so we did and they accepted our offer. We are really pleased with it and are so happy. It is a 2 story house with 4 bedrooms and a media room. The older girls still share a room but they also get their own study desk area. I think they are okay with it. One of our favorite parts is that is has a front porch and back patio. I will have to take pictures of our house so everyone can see it.

So after 8 weeks total of being in a hotel, we are now homeowners again!! Here is a picture of us in front of our house. I will post more when I take better pictures of our home. We are glad to be out of a hotel. Now we get our stuff out of storage and soon hopefully our stuff from China! Now I just have to remember how to cook!!
