Every year before Chinese New Year, the kids at their school celebrate Chinese New Year. Everyday, they have a special activity. Monday, they speak in Chinese all day, Tuesday, they wear their Chinese Best, Wednesday, they make Chinese food, Thursday, they play Chinese games, and Friday, they put on a play from each class. This year, Avery's class did Snow White and Avery was a dwarf. Unfortunately I only have a video and no picture. Rylan's play was about a group of tadpoles trying to find their mom. Rylan was a tadpole. Both plays were cute and the kids did great. They are still bashful about speaking in Chinese but are understanding alot. Avery has done real well and always knows what the ayi is saying and helps translate for me. One day, we went outside and I had forgotten by wallet. The ayi called and talked to Avery and Avery knew exactly what she was saying. Way to go Avery! Here are some pictures of them!!
