Before, we prepared to leave China, we could not pass up the opportunity for Mom and Dad to try hot pot. It is famous in the the Sichuan Province. Chris's tutor wanted to take us out so he could explain it to us. THe chinese believe the spiciness in the food cleans your system out as well as keeps your warm in the winter. We order raw veggies and meat and cook it in a spicy broth for the people who like spicy food and then there is a middle bowl with a mild chicken broth. The middle bowl is where Grammy, Aubrey, and the kids ate from. Papa, Chris, and Kevin ate from the spicy part. We are fish, lotus root, mushrooms, pork, beef, cabbage, cucumbers, onion, and so much more. Here are some pictures. Grammy and Papa did so many other things like go to all types of markets like the Ladies, Fish, and North Market. Grammy also went to the tailors to have 2 jackets made and they did so much more. I think we had a good time.
