We visit Elephant Stone Lake

When we got back from our adventures in Sanya, we decided to end our vacation going to a place about an hour away from Chengdu. It is called Elephant Stone Lake. It is a huge park with various flowers. Apparently throughout the year they have different flowers in bloom. Right now they have tulips. They also have a lake that you can take a boat ride there. However, since the earthquake, the lake has dried up and there is no longer water in it. Apparently it changed the structure of the lake and the part we went to had no water. It was such a pretty place and would be even prettier if there was water. We had fun taking pictures. The girls loved to race each other and daddy in the grass and up the hills. There was also a zipline there and the girls wanted me to try it. With their encouragement I did it!! I will try to download the video. It was fun and Rylan liked seeing me so much that she wanted to try it! However, when we went to buy the ticket, they said she was too small.
